Our school and the Editorial Department of "Foreign Economics and Management" co-sponsored the Review Meeting for Special Issue Papers on "Specialized and Sophisticated Enterprises"

On December 21st, 2022, the Review Meeting for Special Issue Papers on "Specialized and Sophisticated Enterprises" co-sponsored by the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University and the Editorial Department of "Foreign Economics and Management" was successfully held online. The academic meeting carried out face-to-face discussions and comments between authors and experts focusing on the 9 papers selected in the special issue of "Specialized and Sophisticated Enterprises". More than 20 experts, scholars and students from both inside and outside the school were attracted to participate in the meeting. Professor Li Ping from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, Associate Professor Sun Li from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and Professor Li Weiwen from Sun Yat-sen University were specially invited as review experts.

The opening ceremony of the meeting was presided over by Professor Li Weiwen - Associate Dean of the School of Business, Sun Yat-Sen University, and Xie Manhua - Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, delivered a speech.

Then, the discussion and review session of the meeting paper officially began, presided over by Song Chengyu - Director of the Editorial Department of "Foreign Economy and Management".

Experts and scholars from 9 universities, including Nankai University, Wuhan University, Xi'an Jiaotong University and Dalian University of Technology, reported in detail on the problems encountered in the revision of the paper and the questions about the review opinions.

Finally, Director Song Chengyu expressed his gratitude to the experts and scholars who actively participated in the discussion of this special issue and the three review guests.
