嘉宾简介:李世炳(Li Sai-Ping)教授,香港中文大学毕业,美国西雅图华盛顿大学博士,曾任中国台湾地区物理研究所研究员,副所长,所长等职,华东理工大学讲座教授,现为香港科技大学物理系客座教授。主要研究方向为复杂系统,其中包括金融及社会复杂系统等相关课题。

In this lecture, I will first introduce several fundamental concepts of complex network theory, including degree, shortest path, adjacency matrix, centralities, community detection and various types of networks and network models. I will then move on to give examples from my recent researh work on several systems, including financial systems such as stock markets, and social systems such as mobile phone networks. I will also mention some very recent and future works, and the possibilities of applying various complex network concepts in the analysis.
在这个讲座中,我会先介绍一些复杂网络的基本概念,包括度,最短路径,中心性,社群发现以及不同的网络和网络模型。接着我会讨论几个我近年应用在金融及社会系统中的案例如金融网络,手机网络等,最后我会简略介绍复杂网络应用在我最近以及未来的一些研究相关案例。
